About Mary Ann Palermo: Mary Ann Palermo is an international Jazz vocalist/songwriter who has performed widely across the Berkshires and the tri-state region for many years with some of the very best jazz musicians who call the region their home. A musician in her own right, she leads Mary Ann Palermo & First Take in different configurations and across genres including Jazz, Blues, R&B, Funk, Pop, and Rock. She is a masterful interpreter of American Songbook Standards, and her full body of work is available through major streaming platforms where cumulated stream totals have surpassed 500,000 and are often featured in  Spotify Playlists. Palermo’s previously released album, Jazz on the Rocks, produced by Tom Teeley, is a captivating blend of iconic popular songs transformed into Latin Jazz, Jazz Ballads, Jazz Rock, Jazz Pop, and Jazz Soul.

Mary Ann's recent Averosa Records release, In the Night, produced by five-time Emmy winner Dave Smith is a collection of eight American Jazz ballads and torch songs that range from the early days of Jazz—including works now in public domain—to the still-ubiquitous jazz standards of today. She also works with the Italy-based Cultural Bridge Label, and has produced several songs.

about Eric Loffswold. Eric started playing clarinet at 10, guitar at 12 and saxophone at 17. He performed regularly in Top 40 bands while in college in Reno, NV, and studied jazz saxophone with Ron Legg and Frank Perry. Eric played with Jonz, and with jazz-fusion group Gotham City, who opened for Stanley Clarke and the Rippingtons. After moving to NYC in 1989, Eric formed his own group called the New World Jazz Quartet and for the next seven years, played in a wide variety of venues and events.  In 2000, Eric released his first CD as a leader called “I’m in Love” which featured original music and jazz standards.  Eric was a featured soloist in the horn section backing actor/singer Danny Aiello on the CW11 morning television show. In addition to leading his own quartet, Eric played with the Hot Shim Sham Orchestra led by Jessie Bunting, and with soul-jazz group Score! led by Andy O’Neill, among others. Eric’s repertoire of instruments includes the entire family of saxophones, clarinets, flute, and jazz guitar.

about Dave Bartley: David Bartley is a jazz pianist who performs as a soloist and in ensembles throughout western Massachusetts.  His sound ranges from straight ahead solo and ensemble jazz to "blue jazz", blues-infused original jazz tunes with vocals.
David grew up listening to an eclectic mix of music including Ravel, Benny Goodman and West Side Story.  He received his formal musical training in classical piano performance from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he studied piano with Yvar Mikhashoff and composition with Leo Smit. From 1980 to 1999, David was based in Washington DC, where he scored original music for film, video, and radio productions,  performed in various popular music groups, and composed and performed several performance art pieces in association with the Washington Performing Arts Society. After relocating to New England in 1999 David spent seven years working with at-risk youth, creating the music department at The Academy at Swift River in Cummington, MA.
After hearing Bill Evans play "Theme from M.A.S.H."  while driving one day, David had to pull the car off the road to listen and thus began his love for and interest in jazz. David now devotes all his professional time to performing and teaching private lessons.  Although David is adept in many musical genres, including Rock and Chicago Blues, his heart lies with his own special "blue jazz" featuring original tunes and soulful vocals -- described by a fan as "sweet, rocking jazz wrapped up in the arms of the blues."
David performs extensively throughout western Massachusetts
